Our community wellbeing services actively promote and deliver a wide range of social prescription activities which ensure people connect with their community and are supported locally with their mental and physical health needs.
“Shaw Trust met me where I was at, worked on my needs, referred to services that were right for me and now I have a better relationship with my son and we do craft together”
These services help and support people to identify activities within their community that can help them on their journey towards better physical and mental health and wellbeing. With their Shaw Trust Worker they agree a plan that is tailored to their needs, helps engage them in their community and improves their health and wellbeing.
